Thomas Gordon Elliott

Thomas Gordon Elliott,  76, of Grants Pass died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at his home.   He was born Nov. 16, 1936 in Lakeview, Ore.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at Chapel of the Valley – LB Hall Funeral Home. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
He worked on Lakeview ranches in his youth, served in the 3rd Marines Division, Oregon State Police and the City of Davis Police Department.  He operated his own private investigation firm for 20 years.
In later years, he served as a deacon and Anglican priest at St. Jude’s Anglican Church in Grants Pass.
He enjoyed using his broad perspective gained from diverse careers to help family and friends with different outlooks.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley Elliott, and two sons, Thomas and Joe Elliott. He was preceded in death by a brother David.
