Fewell

William “Bill” Fewell passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011, two days shy of his 54th birthday.

Bill was the second of five children born to parents Robert and Ernestine. He joins his brother Richard Fewell in the Kingdom of God. Bill is survived by his brothers Robert and Martin, his sister Donna and loving mother Ernestine. Bill leaves behind a wonderful and loving family: his wife Regina Fewell; daughters Chrystal, Elena, Cammie and Monique; sons Ronald and William; and his grandchildren Creshaunda, Deijah, Miracle, Amari, Gracia and Jeremiah.

Bill was raised as a Catholic with his family at St. Mary’s Church in Rock Hill, S.C. He served in the U.S. Army and thereafter resided in Davis with his first wife, Inez. He resided for many years in the Davis community, where he worked for UC Davis and maintained strong ties to the community.

Bill then married Regina, relocated to Antelope and became a cherished member of the Faith Fellowship Church in Sacramento until his passing.

Bill gave a lot of love and laughs and was loved tremendously in turn. He will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 23, and the service will begin thereafter at 10 a.m. at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane in Sacramento.

A gathering of family and friends will commence immediately after the service at the East Lawn Mortuary.
