Dear Paula and Patti,
I have very high windows in my bedroom which let in a lot of heat. I love the amount of light they let in but the summer heat is unbearable. Is it too much to ask for a product that blocks heat and not the beautiful natural light? — Baking in my Bedroom, Davis CA

Dear Baking,
While you may feel hot and all alone, this is actually a very common question. We have solved this problem many times before. One product we would suggest is the Hunter Douglas Duette Architella. Done in a semi-opaque fabric, you will block out a great amount of heat and still have the beautiful light you desire. You mentioned your windows are high.
