Julie Partain

“I definitely got the passion to sell real estate from my dad,” Julie Partain said.

When Julie was a child growing up in Davis, she has fond memories of her dad, Dick Partain, always coming home from work with a smile on his face and a positive attitude.

When she became a teenager, she grew interested in her dad’s business, Partain Real Estate, and asked her dad if he would teach her about real estate. Soon, she was working at the office on G Street downtown as a receptionist.

After many successful years, Partain Real Estate closed and Dick moved to Lake Tahoe, enjoying the mountain lifestyle, but he couldn’t retire. Once again, he found himself successfully selling homes in North Lake Tahoe.

Raising her children in Davis, Julie finally decided to get her real estate license and do the job she had always dreamed of … selling real estate in Davis.

Once she had established herself in the Davis real estate market, she found her business growing and needed to hire someone to help her with her work. She called the obvious choice — Dad. Dick enthusiastically agreed to come out of retirement and give Julie a hand.

He moved back to Davis and instantly called many of his old friends and past clients to tell them he was back. He gets a big kick out of clients who bought a home from him in the 1960s and ’70s now calling him for help selling that home or buying a new one.

Dick is celebrating 54 years as a broker/Realtor. He is full of positive energy and loves his job. You will find him every weekend holding an open house, rain or shine. His energy clearly has rubbed off on his daughter.

Julie is a consistent top producer and says business is going well even in this uncertain market.

Julie’s son, Brad Bitler, just received his real estate license after graduating from UC Berkeley. He started making fliers for his mom when he was a teenager and now enjoys working with first-time home buyers. Brad also has a certain technological edge within the family business. He uses social media and YouTube to connect with his clients.

Julie, Dick and Brad enjoy Davis’ small-town feel and love running into clients at the grocery store or local restaurants. They would like to thank all of their loyal clients over the years and they look forward to seeing you soon.
