WEST SACRAMENTO — The Sacramento River Cats answered a pair of New Orleans runs in the top half of the inning by scoring three times in the bottom of the fourth on their way to a 4-2 win over the Zephyrs on Thursday night at Raley Field.

Jemile Weeks led off the inning with a walk, Michael Taylor singled, then Michael Choice singled through the hole at shortstop to plate Weeks. Stephen Vogt followed with a single of his own to load the bases for Scott Moore, who gave the Cats a 3-2 lead with his two-run single.

Sacramento tacked on its fourth and final run when Grant Green brought home Andy Parrino in the bottom of the fifth.
