When you dance through the season with a 31-1 record, win league with your eyes closed, then handily capture the Sac-Joaquin Section crown, it\’s only fitting that the region recognize your accomplishments.

\n

Such is the case with the Davis High girls water polo team after CIF officials and coaches named an unprecedented seven members of the Blue Devils to the two 2010 All-SJS teams.

\n

Keelia Houston was, for the second straight year, named area MVP, while teammates Rachel Brooks, Elsie Fullerton and Rachel Johnson were accorded first-team honors.

\n

Second teamers included Hailey Wright and goalkeeper Haley Cameron.

\n

Honorable mention went to goalie Taylor Leuschen, Hannah Levien and Michelle Greenough.

\n

DHS coach Doug Wright was delighted with the selections, which included St. Francis stars Bryce Beckwith and Brooke Vowell as first-team selections.

\n

Troubadours Kaitlin Cozens and Marisa Kolokrontonis made the second squad.

\n

A trio of girls from St. Mary\’s of Stockton — Alex Butler, Allie Gibson and Gracy Smith — were honored on the first team, as were Kelly Leabo (Lincoln, Stockton) and Tracy Gums (Lodi).
