DHS field hockey gets a win on the road

RIVER VALLEY Ñ The road wasnÕt kind to the Davis High girls field hockey team on Monday, but the Blue Devils managed to come away with a 1-0 victory over River Valley.

DHS scored the lone goal in the first 10 minutes, with Sarah Riesenberg knocking in a pass from Ali Campos.

Goalkeepers Sarah Finley and Dominique Lowell both made some great saves to preserve the shutout for the Devils.

Ashley Pugh, Amy Ragsdale and Sachi Wong had strong games in the midfield. DHS remains undefeated in the Eastern Athletic League and faces Corning on the road on Wednesday.
