LOS ANGELES — UC Davis sophomore Audrey DeNeffe did more than enough to make her mark on the final day of the UCLA Bruin Diving Invitational, taking 12th place with a 387.20 in Sunday’s platform competition at Spieker Aquatics Center.

DeNeffe, who made her second final round of the weekend as she took 18th in 1-meter, finished 13th during the platform prelim with a score of 199.25. That mark was her second-highest score of the 2013-14 campaign behind only a school-record 210.65 at the Mizzou Invitational in late November. DeNeffe’s finals score of 187.95 was the third-highest platform total by an Aggie this season.

UCD sophomore Lucy Lafranchise, who finished 14th in the 1-meter finals on Friday, finished 23rd in the platform prelims with a score of 162.60. Other Aggies diving well Sunday were seniors Jen Meyer (27th with a season-high 149.15) and Lauren Jesse (29th, 145.90) and junior Shannon Stewart (33rd, 138.55).

USC’s Haley Ishimatsu completed a sweep of all three diving events at the Invitational by winning the platform with a score of 650.45.
