Dixon Rugby Football Club hosts free mini-camp this weekend
Dixon Rugby Football Club invites Davis and surrounding area youths to its second rugby mini-camp this fall. Boys and girls in fifth through 12th grades are welcome to check out the sport of rugby, learn new skills and prepare for the 2012 season.
No experience is necessary. The mini-camp is free, and car pools from Davis will be available.
The camp runs from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Hall Park in Dixon. To reach the park from Davis, head south on Highway 113 to A Street, turn left on A, right on South Seventh Street and right on Chestnut Street.
Bring cleats, sweatshirt, mouthpiece, water and lunch (or money for nearby restaurants).
