Twelve reported round-trippers — including two by Met Robert Schacherbauer — were hit in recent Davis Little League majors-division play.

Mix in solid pitching performances and slick fielding from game-to-game and the last week saw midseason magic.

Here’s a review …

A’s 15, Red Sox 6 — Chase Johnson cracked a three-run homer and Julious Gutierrez knocked in two more runs as the A’s cruised.

Ty Soderquist and Jack Chavira also contributed to the 11-hit attack.

Soderquiest, Cole Robben and Grafton Shorts pitched well.

Sox slugger Gabe Dirkson hit a two-run dinger, Owen Millward had two singles, two RBIs and a run scored, while Adam Lovit walked three times, scoring twice.

Cubs 6, Giants 5 — Connor Malone’s bases-loaded walk forced in the winning run in the bottom of the sixth.

Will Fehrenbacher doubled, singled and drove in a run while Cubs teammate Liam Sheehan blasted a solo home run. Cameron Nelson and Jason Firpo also had hits.

Winning pitcher Asher Conn retired all four batters he faced in relief. Christian Sacramento, Malone and Nelson had effective mound appearances.

For the Giants, a homer and double came off the bat of Josh Davis — his fifth-inning dinger tying the game at 5-5.

Tate Cutler doubled and walked in support of impressive mound stints by Cash McCrory (two shutout innings), Colin Morris (fanned a hitter with the bases loaded) and Davis (five punchouts in two innings).

Rangers 9, Orioles 8 — Demetrius Hyder homered before Luis Garibay’s walk-off hit brought home the game-winner.

Ishan Malik added two hits as a six-run fourth supported Hyder’s terrific two innings of pitching (a scoreless fifth and sixth).

Joby Antony, Zachary DeWit, Carson Szeder and Jordan Painter each had two hits and drove in and scored at least one run apiece for the O’s.

Zane Bertero, Krishan Parbhu, Avery Turkovich and Xavier Chambers all got hits and scored.

The Orioles’ defense was other-worldly, including Jason Inouye, Parbhu and Szeder combining on a triple play.

Also, Bertero turned in an unassisted double play just before Inouye, Chambers and Szeder worked on a base-loaded twin-killing. Chambers eventually threw out a runner trying to steal, ending that Rangers threat.

Painter and Szeder allowed no runs in their pitching turns.

Phillies 8, Red Sox 2 — Matthew Young led the Sox hitters and Gabe Dirksen provided a nifty outing on the mound.

Orioles 10, Yankees 7 — Carson Szeder belted a home run, a single and drove in four runs as the O’s banged out nine hits.

Jordan Painter went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBIs while Jason Inouye went 2-for-4 and scored three more times.

Joby Antony doubled, scored and had an RBI as Zane Bertero (run) and Xavier Chambers (run, RBI) added hits.

With their team building a 6-0 lead over four frames, Oriole hurlers Chambers, Andre Shweky, Matthew Njoku and Avery Turkovich were almost flawless. Inouye and Liam Booth had web gems.

Brewers 10. Rangers 4 — A Chris D’Angelo two-run homer was aided by Nate Thompson’s bases-loaded single to break a 4-4 tie with a six-run fifth inning.

Scott Inouye was 2-for-2 with two RBIs, while Eli Yasui had a 1-2-3 inning of relief.

For the Rangers, Ryan Jamarillo hit his first Little League home run.

Mets 10, Padres 1 — Robert Schacherbauer blasted a pair of round-trippers and scored three times as the Mets had their way.

Kenny Wanderstadt also homered in support of terrific pitching by Cameron DeMasi, Schacherbauer, Mitchell Biscardi and Walsh Klineberg.

Contributing at the plate were Cole Knutson, Alex Arias, Alex Peixoto, Michael Gross and Simon Downes Toney.

Yankees 5, Brewers 3 — Elliot Greve was 2-for-3 with a two-run single in the sixth, giving the Yanks their margin of victory.

Earlier, Dante Romero’s lead-off single ignited a three-run, fourth-inning rally.

Colby Mayer, Jason Henkel, Luc Marie and Romero were dominating on the mound and were supported by David Studer’s game-ending, warning-track catch.

Cubs 7, Orioles 4 — A homer, single and four RBIs by Jordan Painter paced the O’s.

Zane Bertero was 2-for-3 and Joby Antony had a hit.

Jason Inouye, Krishan Parbhu and Xavier Chambers turned a double play and Matthew Njoku added a web gem.

Antony didn’t allow a run in two innings of hill work.

Phillies 9, Mets 3 — Cameron DeMasi and Robert Schacherbauer each had two hits and Nick Haverlock, Michael Gross, Alex Peixoto and Rhys Navarro smacked key hits for the Mets.

Haverlock scored twice and made a terrific play in the field, as did Navarro.

Giants 8, Orioles 7 — The Giants pushed across the winning run in the sixth after scoring five times the previous inning to come from far back for the win.

Krishan Parbhu and Xavier Chambers were 3-for-3 for the Orioles, and Parbhu collected a double and two RBIs. Joby Antony was 2-for-3 (two RBIs and two runs) and Carson Szeder scored twice and added a two-run hit.

Jordan Painter scored twice as he and Jason Inouye rounded out the O’s offensive attack.

Painter had four assists and a great play from the hole at shortstop. Antony and Parbhu didn’t allow runs during their pitching stints — each fanning three batters as the Giants managed only five hits, but won.

Yankees 6, Padres 5 — David Studer stole home after leading off the ninth with a walk to give the Yanks the dramatic victory.

Jason Henkel went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for the winners.

Colby Mayer (RBI), Brady Nelson (triple), Mason Garcia and Luc Marie contributed at the plate.

Six pitchers — Nelson, Braeden Schimmel, Studer, Dante Romero, Ethan Trinidad and Mayer — combined in the extra-inning dandy. Nelson’s sterling play at third ended the game.

Note: If you don’t see your favorite team’s activity reported, talk to that team’s scorekeeper or coach. Davis Little League action is covered each Tuesday in The Enterprise. Deadline for submitting previous-week recaps is Sunday evening at the end of the day’s final game.
