The Homecoming Parade, themed “Devils through the Decades,” starts at 1:15 p.m. Friday on C Street alongside Central Park. It features class floats from the sophomores, juniors and seniors as well as the DHS Pep Band, members of fall sports teams and school clubs, as well as representatives of the DHS Blue & White Foundation, the school board and more.
Parade grand marshals are DHS Principal Will Brown and teacher Eric Bastin, winner of Rotary Teacher of the Year award last year.
The parade heads south on C Street, east on Second, north on F, west on Fourth, north on C, west on Sixth, north on B, west on 14th and north on Oak Avenue to Ron & Mary Brown Stadium.
The JV football game vs. Monterey Trail starts at 5 p.m. Friday, followed by the varsity game at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $7 general and $4 for students, seniors and children. The Homecoming king and queen will be crowned at halftime of the varsity game.
