It was another jam-packed week of Davis Little League action as the Rockies, Rays and Twins were among the majors-division teams with solid outings.

Here’s a look back at recent majors play:

Twins 12, Red Sox 3 — Derek Lerman blasted a grand slam homer and Mason Scheiber added a solo shot as the Twins scored five in the first inning and seven in the last frame.

Ryan Holgate recorded the pitching win.

Rangers 6, Brewers 4 — Despite getting only one hit — Reed Hessl’s first-inning single — the winners scored three times in each of the first two frames.

Ryan Cromwell was solid afield and Sam Ault was quick on the bases. The Rangers turned two double plays (Owen Sanchez to Jason Sanchez and Jason Sanchez to Ault).

For the Brewers, Cameron Knutson and Max Thompson had two hits apiece and Jake Goidell added a safety.

Sebastian Anaya, who also pitched well, turned in a good outfield play. Thompson and Jake Purves pitched strongly.

Nationals 3, Red Sox 1 — Shinye Ho hit a walk-off, two-run dinger in the pitcher’s duel.

Tyler Gibson picked up the victory (pitching a scoreless sixth), while Sox hurlers Will Smith, Sean Finerty and Kelsey Forrester also were solid.

Zach Baca had an RBI single, scoring Forrester, Davis Eisenman had a double and Collin Yee, Mike Finerty and Iain Smith had hits for the Sox.

Yee, Jack Carsel and Casey Freese all made terrific outfield catches and catcher Josh Danzik threw out a runner.

Brewers 12, Orioles 2 — Max Thompson went 4-for-4 with a double and Owen Troy added a single and double in the win.

The Brewer bats were smoking as Zach Carrell (double), Jake Goidell, Ty Wilkinson and Sebastian Anaya all added hits.

Troy, Goidell and Anaya combined to pitch a two-hitter.

Lance Prussel and Austin Griffiths threw well for the O’s as Griffths and Tyler Mortensen got their team’s hits. Evan Moddelmog stole home.

Cardinals 6, Mariners 5 — Yiorgos Callaway had two hits, walked and scored twice for the winners.

Lev Farris Goldenberg walked, singled and scored.

Will Ziegler turned in a double play and Ryan Lowell was slick defensively. Callaway and Ziegler joined Aaron Kaplan and Zane Schouten in fine mound efforts.

For the Mariners, Nate Ade had three doubles and two RBIs, Jack Painter went 1-for-3 with a run batted in and Nathan Stoltz singled and walked.

Noah Murray, Stoltz and Derrek Mundy pitched well.

Mets 16, Red Sox 5 — Max Melendrez’s three-run homer in the first inning got the party started and the Mets never looked back.

L.J. Schwartz hit a grand slam and Chris Roque added another homer in the six-run fifth.

Caden Neel had two hits and two runs scored. Schwartz, Roque and Neel threw well.

For the Sox, Sean Finerty homered and doubled and Will Smith contributed a round-tripper of his own.

Reed Hessl also cracked a three-run blast as Jason and Adrian Sanchez both had a single and double.

Chris Kruger and Luke Schwedler had outstanding catches. Sam Ault got the save in relief of winner Hessl.

Rockies slugger Matteo Sorrentino homered and Bo Van Court was 2-for-3. Hillel Rosenheim scored twice and pitched well.

Bob and Manuel Costa, Ethan Ramos, Murray and Joe Richter all made great plays afield.

Cardinals 12, Twins 9 — Cameron Wolfe had three hits and a walk, Lev Farris Goldenberg and Gavin Schouten had two singles each and Yiorgos Callaway turned in several terrific plays in center field.

Neil Welch, Anthony Field and Zach Thornburgh added hits.

Red Sox 9, Mariners 5 — Noah Murray hit a three-run dinger and Nate Ade was 3-for-3 with an RBI, while pitching two innings of no-hit ball to start the game.

Jack Painter, Billy and Charlie Easton all had hits. Collin Yee got credit for the win.

Nationals 8, Orioles 2 — Evan Moddelmog hit a two-run homer for the O’s, who got strong pitching from Austin Griffiths, Trevor Van de Water and Lance Prussel. Prussel and Griffiths were solid defensively.
