Charlie Streeb’s bases-loaded double scored the deciding two runs in the last inning as the Davis Little League AAA Dodgers beat the Diamondbacks in the Saturday heat, 9-7.

Eli Vikstrom — who went 2-for-2 with two RBIs — scored the game-winner and Brandon Folb was 2-for-2, also with two runs batted in. Hank Doreo scored and had an RBI to go with his single and Kazu Ikemoto scored twice.

Wining pitcher Streeb combined with Nick Haverlock and Liam Sheehan to strike out 12 D-Backs.

Thomas Fong’s double and hits by Eric Chung, Niko Dwyer, Conner Dinnell and Antonio Martin paced the Diamondbacks.

There was much AAA action during the past week: here is a look back …

Yankees 13, Reds 11 — Matthew Young tripled and singled while Brady Nelson and Dante Romero each doubled and singled, helping the winners score four times in the last inning.

Owen Lingbloom’s triple and singles from Joby Antony, Adam Ferguson and Adam Brugger all contributed to the Yanks’ big run production. Ferguson and Brugger combined on a double play, too.

Antony, Brugger, Young and Nelson pitched admirably.

Conner Malone and Colin Carter each drove home three Reds’ runs, and Josh Davis and Max Spatz had two RBI, while Zach Anderson added one.

Carter and Anderson pitched well.

Tigers 12, Giants 8 — Outfielder Luis Garibay’s strike to shortstop Jason Inouye was relayed to catcher Krishan Parbhu, who tagged a Giant runner out to end the slugfest.

Gabe Dirksen (3-for-3) had two doubles, three RBIs and two runs scored for the winners.

Parbhu added two doubles, an RBI and a couple of runs and Garibay and Xavier Chambers both had hits and scored twice.

Zane Bertero allowed no runs and fanned three in his pitching stint.

Giant Cash McCrory swiped three bases, had two hits and scored two runs. Grant Wallace tripled and singled, driving in four teammates, and Tanner Snow added a double.

Wallace and McCrory pitched well.

Orioles 9, Red Sox 0 — Jason Henkel went 2-for-2 and Adam Lovitt, Ishan Malik and Max Scheiber all contributed at the plate, but the Sox couldn’t break through.

Giants 16, Reds 11 — Ben Skinner’s two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored kept the Giants’ lineup turning over as Ansel Tuckets, Nico Cooper, Emery Lee and Ethan Quinn reached base in every at-bat, scoring twice apiece.

Saul Israel and Tanner Snow pitched effectively and Skinner turned in a web gem in center field.

Reds’ slugger Connor Malone had two singles and an RBI, Josh Davis and Colin Carter added two hits and Mike Flood drove in a run.

Alex Peixoto, Max Spatz, Keiffer Jones, James Benson and Flood pitched.

Yankees 10, Tigers 3 — Brady Nelson and Owen Lingbloom shut down the Tigers from the mound and a handful of Yankees contributed key hits in the victory.

Adam Brugger singled and doubled, Joshua Yoon doubled and a hit apiece came from Joby Antony, Aiden Eagle, Dante Romero, Gabe Chacon and Braden Schmmel.

Defense — including spectacular catches by Xavier Chambers and Tyler Hudson — was the game’s highlight for the Tigers.

Scoreless innings by Krishan Parbhu and Chambers and a nice mound outing by Avery Turkovich were augmented by Gabe Dirksen’s two-run homer and hits by Zane Bertero, Parbhu and Turkovich.

Cardinals 10, Padres 3 —Doubles by Richard Lee, Zach Forbes and Nolan Bitners and a single by Mitchell Biscardi accounted for the three Padres’ runs.

Biscardi came up from AA to help the Pads, who were down to eight players.
