UC Davis football season tickets go on sale Tuesday

Aggie football fans know what’s coming …

A scrappy UC Davis team finished last year by winning five of its last eight games, spanking rival Sacramento State, 34-7, in the Causeway Classic and then picking up 15 ready-to-help recruits over the winter.

Beginning Tuesday, 2014 season tickets go on sale — and there are perks for purchasing.

First-time Aggie opponent Fort Lewis comes in Sept. 6 for the home opener.

Big Sky winner Eastern Washington opens the conference slate at Aggie Stadium on Sept. 27, while Montana State is in the house for Homecoming on Oct. 11. The regular season ends Nov. 22 with the still-stinging Hornets.

Northern Colorado (Nov. 1) completes UCD’s five-game home schedule.

Oh, and those perks …

The Aggies travel to Pac-12 champion Stanford to open the season on Aug. 30, and season-ticket holders will have “the first opportunity to purchase tickets in the UC Davis section … at Stanford,” according to UCD media relations representatives.

Season-ticket holders also get first crack at spots in the Aggie Tailgate Field.

Tickets for the Stanford game and tailgate area will go on sale in May.

Season-ticket prices start at $60 for Family End Zone seating, Westside Reserved are $110 with Premium Reserved (Sections 121-123) available for $130. Premium Reserved also requires a 2014-15 TeamAGGIE Athletics Fund donation.

Special promotions include Education Appreciation Night vs. Fort Lewis, UCD Brewfest (Sept. 27 with EWU), Family Weekend/Salute to Heroes (Northern Colorado game) and Aggie seniors being honored before the 61st annual Causeway Classic.

For tickets, visit www.ucdavisaggies.com (Ticket Central) or call 530-752-2471.
