Two individual wins and another as part of a relay squad at last weekend’s Aggie Open impressed the Big West enough to give UC Davis’ Ashley Marshall her second consecutive Track Athlete of the Week award.

The junior from Moreno Valley, who also opened her season with a big performance at Cal on March 8, won Saturday’s 100-meter dash in 11.58 seconds, the top time in Division I so far this season.

Marshall also took the 200 in 24.05, then ran the second leg of UCD’s 4×100 relay win. The Aggie squad’s time of 45.70 stands as the third best in the country.

In addition, Marshall set a Woody Wilson Track record in the 100 and tied the venue’s mark in the 200.
