K in Davis- This is NOT a scam. There are 100s of animals that come into the YCAS Shelter each year, and they need towels too! Most of the animals that go into this shelter don’t make it to the adoption floor! The adoptable animals aren’t all the ones that get the towels, toys, and medicine. And the reason they have so few animals is because they got adopted! Last time I was there (end of December) the cat room was FULL and there were 9 dogs available.
Plus, they have a whole shed deticated to towels and blankets, and 2 metal storage bins that are about 100 feet long, so they can store the supplies!

THIS IS A SCAM by the Animal shelter since the week before Christmas there were only 4 dogs and 3 cats available for adoption. In other words, “Come on in, bring us stuff we can use . BUT WAIT: there aren’t any animals available for adoption. OOPS.GOSH. Guess we didn’t notice we didn’t have any animals around. Our bad. Or good, since no one can adopt one at the low rates we are offering. Heh,heh…..
